The Brethren MCC were formed as an independent club with a philosophy to provide a network of Friendship, Brotherhood and Support to our members. We do not have any interest in the politics and claim no territory. We do not support, nor are we affiliated with any other clubs, but we do acknowledge and respect the position of all MCs, in particular the senior clubs in our area.
We believe in Honesty, Integrity and Loyalty. We believe a mans past, present and future are his own affair and the path he takes and those he chooses to share it with is his choice. Do not be offended if we refuse to discuss details about ourselves or our club business - that information is restricted to members only. We ride our bikes, keep ourselves to ourselves and look out for each other, and we intend it to keep it that way.
The Club started life in the summer of 2006 when the idea was first discussed by the three founding members, the structure and rules were finalised and by January 2007 the club was officially launched. At that time we had a different name and were going under our original colours. A little further on and we are still here, still finding our way but with a new name and new colours. Though some members have moved on the core members remain the same which is partly the reason for the name change. We chose our new name in reference to the Order of the Knights Templar - probably the finest example of Loyalty and Brotherhood you are ever likely to come across. We are an English club and fly the cross of St George in our colours. We are proud of our country and its heritage and in an England that is shamefully becoming less and less English we will fly our flag with pride wherever and whenever we chose. We are not a religious club, but that is not to say we are without faith.
Early in 2008 communication was established between Brethren MC in Washington, USA, Brethren MC in Ontario, Canada and ourselves. After a period of dialogue official association was agreed between the clubs, each maintaining their own autonomy and colours but sharing a common belief in the ideals of Brotherhood, Loyalty, Support and Respect.
We're currently looking for new members, people keen to get involved and shape the club for the future years so if you're interested take a look around the site, view the basic requirements of membership on the Members page and get in touch. We're a friendly club more interested in rallies and partying than the politics. We're presently based in the northern part of Surrey so convenient for Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire as well as London.
Membership of MAG in the UK and support for your local Bikers Rights Organisation is encouraged though not essential.
We extend the hand of Friendship and Brotherhood to all members of MCs, MCCs, Brotherhoods, Riders Clubs etc. in the United Kingdom and Worldwide. Please don't forget to sign the guestbook before you leave so we can return the favour. BFFB.
